8+ year old desktop finally needs to be replaced. It just can't keep up with the audio and video production stuff I do.

Found a great deal on an open box PowerSpec at Microcenter. Not a gamer, so perfectly happy with a little lower end GPU. But it seems that gaming pcs have the best bang for the buck in meeting my audio/video needs these days.

12th Gen i7, GeForce RTX 3060Ti, 32GB RAM, 1TB NVMe drive, liquid cooled.

Actually 32GB is more than is technically needed for my use. Even with that I'm still tempted to push it to 64GB just because

2nd pair in less then 12 months The deck broke and low and behold that part is not cover under their warranty...

Got the new pair at 50% (Boxing Day sale). With GV everything is cover by the warranty.

Laser parking aid. Got sick of the lollipop reflectors. This one is tiny and sits on the garage door opener. Drive in until the line hits the edge of the dash. Done.

I have the previous model to yours, also from Micro Center. Excellent computer and I've yet to find a game it can't handle at high quality.

Mine is wired into the light socket of the opener. That way the laser turns on when the garage door opens and turns off when the light turns off after a few minutes. Right now it's using this chintzy looking light socket adapter. I don't need the light itself, so I'm going to replace that with a flush screw in socket.

The kit comes with a sound activation module that is supposed to turn on when it hears the opener, but as far as we can tell, it's a POS and doesn't work at all. So we skipped it and just went with this setup.

i need to do a better job of keeping up... here's what happened under the "christmas" gifts to myself - not pictured are plastic casters for my aeron, a "replica" yellow alpine band for my apple watch, and a lenox light-up 9" level

if you couldnt tell, i found my PSP in the drawers i usually despise battery packs, but it was $11.01 shipped, so i couldn't refuse on a year old phone.

Wasn't sure where to post this. I didn't buy it, my daughter gave me for Christmas a set of Irish linens, made in Ireland. Here is one that displays Irish families and where they lived in Ireland. I am half Irish and my family name is among them.

Instead of buying a whole new car for the winter, I invested in a $35 undercarriage pressure washer attachment.

European style mirrors; having learned driving overseas I'd always found it lacking that the cars here don't have the "wide angle" mirrors. Was a long time annoyance and I finally found a feasible set for really cheap

Bought my son some LED light strips for his room. Installed them yesterday.
8m very impressed with the fit and finish and output of these inexpensive lights!
It came with a remote but also has a mobile app.
He loves them!
