I knew it was probably too good to be true. Having said that when my daughter lived in the arctic these were popular with the locals. She brought one back for me, I had it in the pantry for quite a while before my wife sent it to the dump.

Au Pied du Cochon in Montréal has a famous "Duck In A Can" dish on the menu, which not only comes in a can, it's cooked in the can and opened hot tableside. A variety of duck preparations including foie gras, with gravy and veggies, etc. all in one can. Extremely rich, but delicious. Highly recommended.
