I was only interested in knowing if a door was locked or not and maybe the occasional need to remotely lock or unlock the door. And then I have a mix of door sensors. Some doors have the Eve Home door sensors and some have Aqara door sensors. Both work about the same, but the Eve sensors are more geared toward an Apple ecosystem. The status light I have is also an Aqara and acts as a hub for the door sensors, so if you're going to get the same light I have, stick with the Aqara door sensors. They're quite a bit cheaper anyway and they use a more commonly found battery.

Aqara also makes smart door locks, but I've never used them.

I love it. I'm a big fan of super automatic machines. Our first was a Jura Capresso and this is now our second Gaggia. Actually, it's our third Gaggia. I liked our previous one so much I bought another one to use at work. And I'm thinking about repeating that with this new one.

If you haven't already done so, spend some time watching machine videos on Whole Latte Love. They will help you make a solid decision.


EDIT: Something to consider...
These machines, generally speaking, don't like dark roasted, oily beans. Some will tolerate them but only if you set the grinder to its coarsest setting but then it'll make terrible espresso. I'd suggest you first determine what beverage you'll make most frequently using your preferred roast and brand of beans and then selecting the machine that best suits those scenarios.
