The only thing I dislike about the Sperry's is those stupid leather laces. Mine always come loose, even when double-bowed.

Once you are happy with how the feel, spray the laces with Clear Glue, they will not come loose

$15 got me a jig to put holes in furniture for the handles. I've started in on refinishing some things that have been around the house for a long while.
Currently I stripped the white latex off a nice top dresser. Seems almost like I found walnut under there! That initial clearing has me doing all the intricate little nooks and crannies with a wire brush, small flat screwdriver, and a pick.

Govee air purifier. We have several of these around the house and they work very well. This one is for my Pain Cave. Don't want to be huffin' and puffin' dirty air while I'm working out. These all have an Auto setting where the speed of the fan increases if the AQI detects an increase in particulates. The one in our living room will crank up to medium or high every time we cook something smelly. Otherwise these run virtually silent. We even have one in the bedroom and can't hear it running at night. I always wait until Amazon has a coupon or sale so these are under $100.

Does it use disposable or washable filters? We have some Guardian purifiers but always interested in others.

The filters are not washable, AFAIK. I take them out to the garage periodically and vac them out, then blast them from the inside with air. Seems to be effective. We're well into year 2 with our older ones and still using the original filters.

We recently picked up a AirDoctor 3500 for our room. Very impressed! We’ll be picking up their 5500 for the common space in the coming months once we move in to the new place. Big difference in air quality, and I’m the skeptic.

After having the failing clear coat repaired, I'm planning on drying the car with as little contact as possible.

New projector for the home theater. It was finally time to go 4K.

The old one is at least 10 years old and will likely go my daughter's house

Curious of your thoughts. I'm considering similar.

It will probably be this weekend at the earliest that it gets installed. But I'll let you know.

It's replacing an ancient JVC RS2, so I doubt the blacks will be as good. But otherwise I'm expecting a pretty big improvement when it comes to 4K vs HD

I don’t have this brand, I have Levoit, but I do have a bunch of air purifiers around my house, and they help immensely with the dust and the allergies that we get here in Texas. I love that they can turn up when they sense air quality is poor.

Not the best time of the year to buy this it fold 3 times and roll to fit in the box.

On Amazon.ca, they had (and still) a $100 coupon. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07PFN7GM7?...roduct_details

Will installed in the spring.

I’ve looked at these before cause when the car comes in wet from rain, it pools and slides around my epoxy floor. But I also don’t wanna hide my nice floors. (Texas, so never snow. Just ice)
Let us know when it goes down! Would love to see!

Interesting. I also have nice epoxy garage floors where water collects if it's raining. I usually just use my floor squeegee to push it out to the driveway.

Have only watched a couple of movies and a little TV, but so far I am very happy with it.

The blacks aren't quite as good as the JVC, but I knew that going in and it's not really that big of a difference.

Bottom line is no regrets other than that I will now probably be re-buying certain movies in 4K
