Yeah, if school dist is not that great, it might be a good investment for the kid to attend private school. I personally do not believe in priv school, so gotta live in above avg school dist area.

Well, as for shopping, it depends. Having a parents who went from RICHES TO RAG, I would rather wore an avg clothes and had at least 1-2 sem of tuition available for me. Good clothes at a young age really didn't help much.
However, it would've helped me a little if they had $2-3500 for me to just survive during my 1st two semester of school.

For that matter, little fund set up for my kid is more priority. There is nothing wrong with either way. Both are for the best for our kids.

(Or, she can get an sports scholarship to Stanturd, and I get to spend that money when she goes to school. yay!
