That is indeed very very close to the the final design.
What is only missing here is the overall feel you have when looking at the car - I see something that is very sci-fi and I like it. The back end reminds me the X6-vs-8series look on the other hand, also done quite softer than current G11 LCI. |

We saw the first glance of this with the m2 comp but there was still 2 distinct sections. This is a bit too far

I mean, they could have started the grille above the hood and ended it below the bumper like the G80 so at least there's that.

Ever think that maybe Kia stole their design from BMW, just blending them together and smoothing them out to not make it so obvious. After all, the Korean brands have always been VERY good with copying designs from luxury brands...not the other way around.
Likely for the radar sensor, maybe similar to the iX? |

It resembles the 2 series active tourer grill, so not new technically design. Maybe the filing has more information apart from the design?
The new 5 series will also get a one piece grill with the radar in the middle. But looking at the filing, I don't think we are seeing the actual 7 series grill. The height of the grill seems a bit too small, the prototypes show a much larger grill design, with the bottom portion of the grill being much deeper, enough to fit a standard EU sized license plate under the radar section. But maybe I am wrong. Last edited by AD; 12-03-2021 at 01:08 PM.. |
