I don't understand the point of reselling old machines anyways, I can always find a use for them. That or I can upgrade my PC hassle free.

You sell your old system, so your house doesnt turn in to a PC/MAC museum over a period of 20 years.

I really really do not need any more computers in the house. The old days of hoarding computers and burning electricity with unused computing power are gone. The last thing i want to see when I get home is computers all over the damn place. I deal with enough of that shit at work.

As far as the OP: I was hardcore PC fanatic for years, hated mac. I finally got fed up with all the quirks in Windows that I did a hackintosh with snow leopard, and loved it so much I don't ever see myself going back to PC. No real reason to buy a Mac either though, IMO, except for business use. Too easy to switch a PC to mac now. |

There is also a decently narrow window if you are going to sell. As aging tech quick turns to completely obsolete tech in about a year.

Used to hate Apple as much as the rest of y'all until I started actually using them. I can't see myself every going back to PC. I got SOOOOOOOOO fed up coming back to my computer to find Windows had updated itself. Just write the program properly the first time!!!!!!!!!

That said, I would NEVER buy a mac pro, unless it was for business use. With the new hardware coming out, os x is compatible with most of it so there isn't a real reason to buy an Apple desktop. BUT, I would choose an iMac over any other all-in-one PC, or the Air over any other portable laptop. This might be the next Apple product I buy http://store.apple.com/us/product/H1...arrot_AR_Drone |

it's easy to hate things you know nothing about and post juvenile price comparison images that are made by people who can't see beyond published specs and dollar figures.
