35% all around (legal limit) and with the rear and side power shades I can make it darker anytime I want. Actually, the shades are up pretty much 99% of the time.

Interesting, they appear lighter than 35's. I'm debating between 40's and 50's. Concerned 50's might be too light, but concerned 40's might be too dark (just want them for the 'look').

It depends on the angle you are looking at the car. Sometimes they look completely black and other times they are just light enough that you can 'just' see inside. If I could have gone a little darker, I would have gone with 30%, but I don't think I would have gone any darker than that. I also didn't want to go with anything darker in the back (there is no legal restriction on how dark I can go for the back windows) so that if I lower the shades I can have the same look all-around. I'm actually quite happy with the way it is right now.
