I shipped my car enclosed from North Florida to North New Jersey in Jan 18 with JAVO Auto Group for $800. There were multiple reschedules for pickup, but after the car was picked up, everything was smooth. I will likely be using them again next month.

I am an owner of car transport company. I'll be glad to help with any car transport needs. My company transports cars for multiple BMW dealerships in California and we transported every model of BMW hundreds of times. I'll be glad to give a quote for open transport or enclosed, nationwide in any direction.

Mr Car Shipper. I bought my M3 in FL and I got it in NC in 4 days. I used my CC and I was charged only by the time the M3 was loaded on the trailer. $575 open trailer. Driver was in constant communication with me.

Just about all the people listed on this threads are simply brokers.
They type the details into their Central Dispatch account and find out what the recent prices are between destinations. They then jack up the price and give you a quote. If you give the go ahead, they list on Central Dispatch for pickup in a specified window and wait for Drivers to contact them for the load. One person could have a great experience with a Broker and another a shifty exoerience as the Broker really has no control over the actual trucks transporting your vehicle. The only difference are the few Companies that own everything and Drivers are their Employees. Those are Companies like Wagoneers and the Company that delivers all the Bugattis,Rolls Royces etc in enclosed trailers. Of course, they are also the most expensive. Also, there are major differences in prices depending on region and dates. Same routes can vary upward of 300% or more depending on the time of year. That’s why the Brokers check Central Dispatch to see what was listed and accepted in the past several weeks....and what the accepted price was Last edited by IK6SPEED; 01-18-2019 at 06:02 PM.. |

All the haulers are over the road truckers who just bid through a central dispatch board. Everyone sees the same bids. In my experience, though never guaranteed, try to get single truck single driver with minimal load/unload cycles.
MY QUESTION: I am buying a 335i xDrive, 2015. Any suggestions for properly securing or strapping it on a hauler? I am not sure the drivers are experts in the AWD system and curious if I need to be aware of anything. I once had an S60R (awd sedans, what can I say), and it was fragile. I'm excited about my 335, just want to make sure it arrives without complications. |

recommend me a car shipper
I need to ship one of my BMW over 2000 miles (don't have time to drive it).
After a few calls, seems this has become a complex broker driven business, where they behave almost like Uber/Lift, by matching customers with available truckers going on a certain route. You'd think that with such optimization, one could ship a car across country cheap. Not the case, as they also try to maximize their profit by knowing which brokers you called and giving you the same quote. Are there still companies out there that operate their own trucks? What's your experience been? Any company that you recommend? |

Upscale Auto Transport are jerks. Give you a different date than the time frame you requested then yell at you on the phone and hang up.
They've got some unhinged unprofessional people there.

Reading loads of reviews and feedback about car transport when trying to pick a company, I concluded it's a crap shoot. It seems no company has *all* positive reviews. You just have lower risk/higher cost with the 'prestige' type names who own their own trucks and specialize in high end enclosed transport.
I went with Passport Transport, to take my M2 from NJ to Los Angeles. We then flew out to meet it and drove it around the West and back to NJ, ~5k miles. Good experience with the transport (fantastic experience driving the car on various exciting coastal and mountain roads out West ). They gave a pretty wide window of time to pick it up and the transport time. That seems unavoidable, though not ideal particularly in my unusual situation of wanting to plan a trip around flying to meet the car. But they picked it up around the middle of the pick up window, and the time out to CA once they picked it up was also around in the middle of their estimate. The driver Mark, their drivers are company employees driving company trucks, clearly knew what he was doing and loved cars. I got a good feeling from that right away. And the car was in perfect condition when I picked it up. A little pricey compared to some, but worked out for us. I'd go with them again. |

Need vehicle shipped
Curious if anyone runs a vehicle shipping company. I need an f82 moved from Laguna Hills CA to FT Sill OK (Military). Non PCS move so they won't pay for my vehicle to be shipped.
