That did it for me. And IMHO only poseurs would put on a track sticker that they hadn't driven at.

Who is to say whether they've driven it or not without asking them? Do you consider me a poseur for putting a Nurburgring sticker on my car even though it has not been on the track but I have driven it in a rental?
I'm willing to accept they have driven the circuit at some point. They do have a driving experience program, after all.

Funny you ask, I almost added "...unless it's the Nurburgring, because we've all driven that in our hearts" - so no, not poseur at all (and I meant the driver, not necessarily the car).

The zip tied plate has me thinking he does not have the resources to have made that trip in person, but I'm perhaps being too judgy.

I may have a small sticker of that circuit on mine, but that could mean I'm planning a trip there rather than it's a track I've been on

I should add the irony of your zip tie comment. I literally just came in from the driveway, where I used cable ties to hold a new license plate over the old one...on my race car hauler! The old/expired plate was put on by the dealer using funky anti-theft screws when I bought it years ago, and none of my gazillion anti-tamper bits fit it. No time to order the bit now, since I need to move the trailer out of the driveway today.....

race trailer pretty much rules out poseur, and also explains the need to economize on non-critical fasteners.
