As for hybrid tech in M5 I really have nothing against it. What I am against is that so called “sport sedan” will probably become 5000lbs pig. This has as much in common with sport, as a sport button in Chevy Spark.

If you haven’t seen the Avant in person, you’re really missing out. As much as I love Bimmer wagons (their designs are perfect imho), the Avant *oozes* curb appeal. It’s low, and has that fat ass with the Akra exhaust note. They are stunning up close imho. I was so close to getting one instead of another F90, but once I saw the G99 was coming here, I held off. Gorgeous car though!

I don't want to knock the Audi too hard, it is a nice looking estate. However have you ever stood next to one? It's huge, if I had the choice I'd opt for the RS4 avant.

It's a bitter pill since I think most SUVs are homogenous and boring. However, SUVs do wagon things better, especially since so much effort has been put on refining their braking and handling.

When my GT was in the shop the dealer gave me an Explorer as a loaner and it was a pretty good vehicle. I reckon a family of four with some prudent packing could take a week long trip and not have a bag in the back seats.

Other than that I prefer the wagon so I can roof mount my road bikes. Patton250 you probably already know why I would not want to tail mount my bikes

I may be in the minority (don’t care), but I think the RS6 avant looks bloody awful. If there’s one car that screams narcissist, it’s this.

It'll be too expensive for me that's for sure. More weight means more money.

RS cars are now lagging behind in basically every category, RS7 still looks sweet though, hard pass on RS6, every RS6 I've seen is in that overplayed Nardo Grey color lol
Panamera sports turismo does things to me though, thats a stunning platform

Agree, the Panamera 4S ST, rare as hen's teeth as they are, is my #1 on the consideration list if I move out of an SUV.
