Do you know when we will see some real pictures for the new 5 series? Additionally, for the USA do you know if the 540/550 will be released with the intro lineup or do we have to wait a few months or a year for either or?

I have no knowledge of BMW marketing operations. The intro models are listed in the top post and are not expected to change.

Is the 750e (or an even more powerful plug-in hybrid variant) coming to the US? I see that it is available already outside the US. Thanks!

Any new information about G80/G81 LCI ?

Have a G81 on order, which will be built in the beginning of 2024.
Would be sad, if the LCI comes out 2024 and i have the "old" one

Ask to postpone the build to March.

ynguldyn Any word on the powertrain for the G97 X3M? BMW has said that the new M2 will be the last new M model with a full ICE powertrain. The G97 seems like it's going to be the first 6cyl M model to come out after that statement.

No one besides the people actually building this car know it yet. Ask me in a year or two.

Will the G80 be transitioning to MY24 in March, alongside the introduction of the G82 LCI? Or will it cut in July like last year?

Normally LCI happen in March/April and new model year production start in July.

Since production stops normally in June, the chances to have a 2023 LCI would be small but I guess not impossible.

ynguldyn correct me if I am wrong.

I'm probably more confused than anyone, but I think ynguldyn confirmed that March 2023 the M4 is getting ID8, and February production is the last batch of ID7. I don't think this is an official LCI... it's just a change between model years (I think?) but that would mean the M4 is switching over with March production... I guess. I guess it also means that if you're still waiting on an M4 allocation, your stuck with ID8 at this point since feb production is likely allocated.

LCI for G22/G23 is March 2024, not 2023. This should trigger either a full LCI or LCI-like changes for all M3s and M4s.
