Brisbane BMW selling 306kw 1 Coupe.
According to their 1 series flyer i received in the mail today.:iono:
"The 135i boasts a 306kw in-line six-cylinder petrol engine with Twin Turbo and High Precision Injection......" Somebody should have proof read this before they sent it out. If anyone is interested I can scan and post it up tonight.

A lot of people in the car industry don't know much about cars, it's just a job for them.

Well, it's certainly true that 306kW is "unrivalled in the compact class". I'm getting my car from Motorline (south of Brisbane)...might see if they're willing to match Brisbane BMW's 306kw...that would be interesting...

don't understand how they made that mistake, i have the same brochure from sydney and there is says 225kw, talking about that I was reading in other forum that BMW might launch a software upgrade chip? I ask my dealer yesterday and had no idea what I was talking about, does anyone have info on that?

Hi Richard, I've been told I'll take delivery of my car on Monday 19th (provided there are no hiccups at PrixCar - who get the car from the boat to the dealership including storage etc).
Apparently the car will arrive at the dealership some time this week - as soon as it does they're going to let me know so I can go down and take a look etc. I am a long time customer of Neil Marshall/Motorline...I cannot praise him/them enough - genuine car enthusiasts, excellent to deal with and honest. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the Brisbane area. (Having said that!)...I haven't yet had an invite to the 'release'...is there one? Mind you, if they do have one I guess it will be after the 19th?...in which case I doubt I'll be interested as I should already have my car by then... |

Eureka, Yes mine is in the Dealership next week. I picked up my 335 Touring last week, what an awesome car. Apparently they are having trouble locating a venue for the 135 release. I have met Neil. my salesman is Darren Decourcey and I agree with you Motorline provide an excellent service and really look after you.
