coolant leak when parked
Coolant leaking a lot once I’m parked and shut car off . There’s definitely coolant in the engine bay . Seems like it’s coming from lower hoses , any ideas ? 2018 750ix.

I noticed the same issue in my 2016 740i. Took it to a local specialist and was told there is a very small and slow leak in the radiator plus the coolant hose is leaking. He told me that this is a common issue with the g11/g12.

Very common, happened to mine few years ago they replaced the coolant tank which was root cause of the leak.

I'm wondering if you ever only saw it leaking when parked, and that's why you specified it. There are very few places in coolant loop that are more prone to leaking when being stationary and unpressurized.
Radiator is not one of those and should gush out under pressure if there are significant leaks when unpressurized. |

Hi - just in case, check these posts to see if the leakage is from the same hoses as I had.
