BMW 7 Series G11 and G12

Hi, my 730Ld G12 has just turn 4 years old and my service pack is finished. BMW dealers are charging stupid money for service these days and I’m looking to service the car at a BMW specialist instead and save some money but I would like to use original BMW parts or find the brand that makes parts for G11 G12 and save even more.

I recently changed front and rear brakes and purchased pads from BMW and when I inspected pads there wasn’t any other brand logo anymore just BMW logo and same goes for air filter that I changed my self.

Here is a challenge for all of us, how can we find who makes serviceable parts for our cars G11 and G12 models?

I have owned 7 different BMW’s in the past and for example on e60 models Textar was the brand BMW used as a original part for brakes or MANN for filters etc.

Simply google BMW + the correct 11 digit BMW part nbr you need. This should give you a result of vendors/sellers that have that part and/or the equivalent (oe & oem).

For example, you can see the 11 digit BMW part nbr on the filter you have pictured (13718577170)...if your type BMW 13718577170 into a google search field you should get lots of results of the oe BMW filter, and other oem filters.

If you don't know what the correct part nbr is for you BMW....just use one of the online part database sites like www.realoem.com or www.bimmercat.com...the only problem with these sites is they stopped updating around 2019/2020 build date. But the G11/G12 chassis uses the same part nbrs for 90% of the models built after 2020...the biggest issue would be any facelift changes.

If push comes to shove...you can also call (or stop by) your local BMW dealership's PARTS DEPT (not the service dept) and ask them to look up the part nbr for you. They will need the last 7 digits of your VIN to verify that they are looking up the correct info.

buy all OEM here
https://www.genuinebmwminiparts.com/

best pricing on the internet, I challenge you to find better.
for non OEM, ECS and FCP do price matching, so you can get it there or have them match to thelink above (it most of the time says the items are in stock), along with eBay or Amazon too..

Ive had such deals that ECS cant match, they lose money when it comes to OEM parts so better to see if they will match, (for the free shipping), but GeninueBMW doesn't charge too much for shipping and no tax too.
