I've use Bimmercode and it's week in "standard" mode. It's looks better in expert mode but it's hard to know what do you want to change.
I want to change:
- seat belts reminder remove
- change start up logo in rear entertaiment system
- start/stop turn off
- change "drive mode" from default to last choice

I'll be grateful for helping me where i can find it in expert mode.

Hi,

my g12 come with Harman Kardon sound system. I retrofit it to Bower wilkin system.

Done all the wiring right.

Just find out the B&W system require bigger power cable for the amp.

Change the power cable.

Suddenly the sound is bigger but bad. No more define and control, middle sound flat, tweet lose it crisp sound it used to has.

What could be a problem? is it possible that the amplifier has reset when i discharge it? Do i need to recoding all the way again?
Feeling really bad.

Please help and pardon my english.

Best regards.

Has anyone retrofitted/coded up LED headlights, yet?

I have just done the retrofit and the result after coding is that all lights are coming up one-by-one for only few seconds then after everything goes off.

It is an obvious error code but I can't figure what is wrong.

Did a new custom wiring and replaced both FRM (61 35 6 992 947) and ZGW (61 35 9 322 532)

All modules are brand new.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

BR, Thank you.

Has anyone coded the Alpina blue instruments on their 7 yet? Bimmercode says it's available but I wonder if the diesel dials are there or just the petrol. (rev counter)

Dear All,
I found a way to deactivate the Seat Belt reminder in a 2018 G12 750

the warning is based on the speed of the car, and there is no way to just turn it off, so you have to override the Wrete to FF

HERE is HOW

edit FDL CAF [ACSM_5]
under 3001 Gurtwarnung, 32
SBR variant (Not sure what this is)
SBR (Seat Belt) disabled without SBE (long-term); SbrVariantDriv set to SBR_ohne_SBE_SBR-3.0 SbrVariantPas set to SBR_ohne_SBE_SBR-3.0

Deactivation belt condition indicator driver in cluster SbrDispBltStDrivEnb Set to NICHT_¬AKTIV
Deactivation belt condition indicator front passenger in cluster SbrDispBltStPasEnb Set to NICHT_¬AKTIV
Speed threshold for motion detectionSbrVvehMotion Wrete = FF
Speed threshold for SBR (Seat Belt) warningSbrVvehWarn Wrete = FF
Speed threshold Cancellation of Drive warning to FFSbrVvehWarnCnclDriv Wrete = FF

I hope that will help.

I must be missing something, why would you want/need to turn off the seat belt reminder?

Because it’s annoying
And when you get stuck in a car and you can’t get out in an accident, like it happened to me and the fire department had to cut it off, you think i want to wear that thing anymore!!!

Yes, that way there is still something worth cutting out.

I got one. For all you G series owners with drivers assistance. Wouldn't it be nice to extend or remove all together the automated steering cancellation when you take your hands off the wheel for an extended period of time?

Not sure if I explained it clear. With steering assist enabled, taking your hands off the wheel for 7-10 seconds and the features disables. Would love to disable that.

I like to have my hands on the wheel but I'm old fashioned that way, it disables because the car isn't capable of driving itself.

I understand the safety aspect of it, but it disengages too quickly.

If theres an option to extend or disable all together, I'm definitely coding it.
