Abu Dhabi BMW has shown a predilection for putting together some unique BMWs for its clients, from i8s painted in Individual colors to customized M cars.

This time they've taken the staid Singapore Grey 7 Series and given it a sportier looking exterior featuring M Performance Parts (21" wheels, trunk spoiler, black grills and pedals). Topping off the new look is a 3D Design front spoiler lip.

The result is a more aggressive look to match the 750Li xDrive's performance -- 445hp / 479 lb-ft and covering 0-62mph in just 4.5 seconds

FINALLY!!!!!!!! A front-end worthy of praise consideration! I would insist on this front ent treatment if I EVER considered this car. Gives it a very nice and aggressive look.
Even if I already bought a G11/12, I would insist on modifying it with this.

Thumbs up

What would look even better, is if they added a real brushed aluminum insert on the bottom inside of the front intakes here:

Wow! That is one seriously nice car, colour choice exterior and interior are spot on and the wheels and performance goodies just finish it of with pure class.

And these newer ones have less problems?

I think he was talking about design.

My bet is on Chestnut Wood Trim w/ wooden inlay.
The pics are overexposed so it will look darker in real life

You are totally right, it has many problems, however my impression that he was talking about the design exterior look, the car was just fantastic looking car, same applies when you say the timeless look of the E39
Yes, I said "best looking", so talking about the design and only the design ... to be honest I never owned one so not aware of what issues they used to have ... great car no doubt ... before being bangled :

I purposefully moved away from the chrome finishes, in order to give the car a sportier look - why would adding chrome there add to the look of the car in your opinion?

I suggest you have your prescription Eyewear checked.

Chrome and Brushed Alluminum look nothing alike.
