Climate Control Display Colour

Hi there,

I have a BMW 7 series 2020, yesterday I’ve realised that the Climate Control display changed the text colour from white to green, Very strange colour, it’s very annoying. Is this happened before to someone ? does someone knows what could cause this ? Any help would much appreciated.

Thank you very much.

Does rest of the image look discolored as well, or is it only the white icons? Cant really tell the background that well from the picture.

Hi there,

Yes, just the white part of the screen turned on green, but next day when I started the car , everything was back to normal, I don’t know what could cause this issue. I’m happy that everything turned back to normal. Thank you for replying.

Glad to see it sorted itself out and thanks for reporting back.

In old days, I would have guessed a bad connection in ribbon cable or something, where a whole color spectrum could be addressed by a single conductor. These days however, with LCD displays and integrated graphical controllers, I'd chuck it down to software bug. There's plenty of visual bugs in S15A platform.
