2017 BMW 740e G11, from Japanese to European Satnav/Radio/Carplay conversion

Hello everyone,

As the title says, I have imported 740e from Japan (will be with me in next few days), I would like to convert the Satnav and radio to UK version and add carplay (if it's not already added in Japan).

The issue I'm having is one BMW tech guy says yes it can be done, the other one says no it can't be done, third one wants £1200 to convert.

I'm not great but I'm okay with tech, I've installed and working ISTA, Esys etc, just need to buy some codes from Token master.

I would really like to tackle this myself but would need lots of encouragement and help.

any of you lovely people can guide me in the right direction and options available to me I would really appreciate it.

You most likely have NBTevo headunit which can be patched using feature installer. You can try oem method or patch method. You dont need any launcher to do this region change, only ENET cable and windows laptop. PM me if you are still intrested.
