Nope, from this point going forward, ALL BMW vehicles fitted with the new 523hp V8 engine (whether M-performance branded or not) will only come with xDrive.

If I'm reading that price list correctly the standard leather in the US for "The 7" is Dakota!? What a piss take, that stuff is about a luxurious as a night in a maximum security prison cell.....

Any idea what the Drive Recorder option does? If it is a fully integrated dash cam that might be worth waiting for.

If BMW ever came out and admitted that Dakota leather is actually a "leatherette" then I would 100% believe it. It reminds me of when I was a little kid, my grandparents had a couch cover made of stiff clear plastic so that you could see the couch.... but you were sitting on clear plastic/vinyl. It's the exact opposite of luxury.

I've had Dakota in two different X3s, currently have it in an F10 5 series and I have Nappa in my G12 750. Dakota should absolutely never be an option in a 7 series, or anything BMW considers high end.

For the 2016 models and up, I just really don't like how that center console looks. I think it looks hideous.

With the front end, you won't see it much.

But every time you get in the car, you'll see that ridiculous center console.

My SA told me the dealership has a couple 2020 7 series they want to get rid of this month. PM me if you are looking for one this month. Deal is fantastic. I got one myself.

Your opinion. I disagree. Center console looks great and is extremely functional. You don't like it, you don't buy it, is a good rule.

I like the center console. The screen should be bigger though.
