Drain Valve Mod

Was looking at Fumoto valves and ordered one. I liked it, but it is considerably longer than what I desire especially that the drain location in our pan forces the valve to be installed vertically. Fumoto could’ve worked just fine, but I knew I would be worried of something hitting and breaking it.

I opted to purchase the ValvoMax M18x1.5 found at Amazon. It made sense since it has lower profile. It looks and feel much more secured, and I can trust it much more.

Received it today and done installing it. The car is 2016 750ix, which is not listed in their website. The valve screwed in the pan smoothly with no resistance, it's machined perfectly. The fit is awesome, I drove around and no leaks. I also retrofitted the oil filter cover with the one that has a drain built in it. Ultimately, I should have mess-free oil changes.
