Love seeing some of the MP parts up close. Those CF bits look really good. Makes me sad that I can't add them as port installed options while doing Euro Delivery. Kind of a show stopper on a lease.

Congrats! Looks fantastic especially the interior. The strip on the steering wheel at 12 o'clock; Does it come standard in that colour?
Is it cheaper to port install the M performance bits - do they substitute the stock parts or do they return the stock interior parts to you ?

I am on the fence about the rear diff, after seeing the Manhart thread I may wait it out for a vendor to come out with a CF option. Also really want to get hyperblack 19 SF-71's but im not positive about fitment so I waiting to see if someone on here can get a test fitment and confirm if they will work or not. Quote:
I got the parts port installed so I could residualize them into my lease, they keep all the stock parts, and when i turn it in it has to have all the M parts on it still.

Looks awesome! I'm picking mine up tomorrow which is very similar. Same color combo. Went all out with interior performance parts as well but mine is manual :-p.

OP - beautiful car, just like mine I picked up this past Wednesday.
I added the CF shift lever cover and E-brake alcantara boot as well, and was going to post my pics, but you beat me to it. |

Two things:
(1) Sinister. Really making me rethink my steadfast commitment to Mineral Grey. Especially BSM with blacked out kidney grilles. (2) The CR interior is normally just a little bit "too much" for my tastes, but I have to say the black/CR/carbon fiber combination due to the M Perf interior bits is pretty much perfect. Really comes out in the door shot. All in all, I'll probably spec my M235i a bit more conservatively because I am buying, but if I was leasing I would most definitely cop your style. |
