750 JB4

I recently bought a 750 CPOE.

Has anyone had any experience with JB4 or the Dinan stage 1 tune. I am probably doing one of them in the near future. The JB4 increase in power is more and is less expensive however Dinan comes with a Warranty.

Any ideas?

I went dinan, couldn't risk warranty issues and reliability. I had jb4 in past vehicles but felt a 750 called for something different for some reason. I think it may also have future updates for more power. I installled it last week, also programmed exhaust flap to stay open all the time. I love it. Looking forward to trying a launch sometime this week and have a service scheduled for a couple weeks out, Happy I don't have to remove it .

That's what I was leaning to, I saw the Dinan tune and it seems to be tailored to the G11. The JB4 was more like for any car with N63 TU and from the explanation it seems complicated.

They said Dinan was just a stage 1 and it's "future proof" hoping that a stage 2 would not be that much more $$$

How did u program the flaps to remain open I have the M sport exhaust. Is it something Dinan installer can do??

Please share your Butt Dyno results compare to before the tune how much of a difference did u notice.

Thanks

Exhaust flaps cost 60$
30$ piece on amazon and 30$ app called BimmerLink and about 3 minutes of your time. Best mod I've done yet.

As for butt dyno I've driven the car 100 miles since and in a lot of traffic and I did the exhaust the same day. I also only had the car for a week before doing it so I can't be a good judge. All I know is the car is a BEAST.

Veepeak OBDCheck BLE Bluetooth 4.0... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XKQQQW?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

There are better ones that are more expensive and faster but I like this price and I had a few extra seconds....

Sounds great thanks.

When you do have a chance to experience the car please send me your feed back.
