Love them. I don't like some of the newest BMW "improvements", but the Laser Lights are fantastic. They look especially good on the new 3 series (had it for a few days as a rental car and was great).

I had Adaptive LED on my M4, F15 X5 and F13 640 and now I have Laser on my G11 and to be honest with you I cant tell that big of a difference to me it looks all the same. Maybe the Laser tends to throw the scope further more but that is questionable.

I just tested a bit last night on my LCI. The laser lights, I think, only come on at a set speed (I think it is 37mph or about 60kph). I thought the lasers were slightly brighter than the LEDs but it is a close call. As noted above, I think they throw the scope slightly further as well. But the difference is slight and whether they are worth the $1000 is a good question. With my aging eyes, I think I'd order them again, but for others the money might better be spent elsewhere.

It also needs to be a completely clear road, the won’t activate if there’s another vehicle in sight of the camera. You can clearly see them activate, the shape of the beam changes and there’s a very noticeable increase in range. Doesn’t happen very often though unfortunately.

correct, and in UK the difference in price between adaptive LED and laserlights is £1500

I have them in my end of 2017 G11, but for £1500 I would probably stick with adaptive LED for the LCI model

Hopefully it becomes standard soon. Doesn't sound like it's $1k well spent on those lights. I barely use my adaptive LEDs because I think they're somewhat buggy and wouldn't have gotten them if the car didn't come with them.
