Are we really to beleive that there are a ton of isis prisoners sitting in prisons that are controlled by the Kurds? That seems far fetched and most likely a conspiracy.
The more I read about Kurds the more I realize they are totally incompetent and fight with each other more then anyone. All this Kurd talk is jus crazy republican hype what a surprise. Along with Iraq war and everything else crazy republicans say. All jus lies and hype

Well from your posts it seems you want to avoid foreign armed conflicts, how would you recommend proceeding in this situation?

My idea is to Leave 100%. Turkey isn't hurting us we don't need sanctions for anything. They are NATO ally. Why piss off the strongest country in the area for what reason. Sanctions to me is the same as war. It just pissing off ppl and sticking our nose in other ppl bussnesa and will just drag us into more problems.

Did you notice crazy republicans LOVE sanctions? It's because it always leads to some war or something hostile

It will be a new islamic threat spawned from this abandonment of the Kurds, not necessarily ISIS. The US soldiers were essentially regional peace keepers and weren't fighting. There's DAMN good reason why so many US military and political leaders are saying "It's not us, it's him that did this to you." Trump thought he was being smart and would solidify GOP support of him beyond his zombie base. Thing is, he's not smart....at all.

Because a few dozen troops left the region? Good grief - our military is great, but it isn't the second coming of Jesus. There are something like 10,000,000 people actively taking up arms in that conflict. Do you really think that by us removing less than 100, it will have some major impact in the war? lol.

Same here - so many say 'don't do this' or 'don't do that' but then never offer any other solution except for complaining.

When you generalize like this with "all" statements, you come across as the very definition of a bigot. Replace the word "republican" with another word and see how your statement would sound. All black people love x, All women love x, All Mexicans love x, and so forth. Sounds racist and bigoted as hell, doesn't it?

Damn, son.

Also - I am a registered Republican and absolutely abhor sanctions. They do nothing other than decimate the lives of the everyday folks in a country and don't impact those in power at all. My wife lived under sanctions for nearly 2 decades and feels the same way. She is also a republican, btw (in spirit, she can't vote yet).

Again - because 100 troops out of nearly ten million left the country? Really? lol.

Shocking - ya don't say? You mean there was actually diplomacy happening behind the scenes? No.....

And also donates his annual salary. But TDS fails to allow folks to see things like this, I guess.

Mick Mulvaney has acknowledged the Ukraine aid was quid pro quo for an investigation into the Biden's. It appears that WH has realized the house cards is crumbling, they can't control the fallout, and that people are going against WH direction not to testify in the impeachment investigation. They're all F'ed.

He's such a saint. It's probably the most he's donated in his life ever.

I don't disagree - the guy is a freaking asshole and probably a super stingy son of a bitch as well.

That said - I'm sure there is some specific reason he is doing the donation of his salary thing that benefits him in some way.

Regardless of all of that - the point I was trying to make was that there is no emoluments clause issue like some folks on here keep thinking there is.
