Control screen scan line from bottom to the top
Picked up my i7 about a month ago, love it so much, so comfortable but it seems like it start falling apart.
a week ago the left driver side light panel touch sensor stopped working, I cannot use the automatic door but, or adjust the headlights settings. Brought it to service and they need to order parts which is 1.5 months wait... then couple days ago I start seeing there was a scan line coming from the bottom of the centre control screen to the top. I confirmed that it only happen when I had my headlights on. I tested the same on iX, it does not happen. booked a time for service *AGAIN* tomorrow and will see what they said. Does anyone experience the similar issue on their control screen too? |

It's not quite a scan line (since that was a component of ray and tube-based displays of the past); it's more the presentation of a digital signal picking up some other interference. But your description was definitely understood as something my i7 x60 does. Noticed it since delivery. I had considered getting it looked at—along side have my seat examined for making a farting noise when adjusting, to solve the turbulent wind noise to the right and left of the mirrors, and to have a "clunk" looked at that has since become quieter over age), but then decided I currently don't have the time (or, more precisely, the energy). |

Both of my rear 5.5 controllers had to be replaced due to the black material underneath the glass started to bubble away and turn silver.
