I was about to order some new in cabin air filters for my G12 (Current parts are MAHLE LAK675/2) for the front passenger side compartment since it's so easy to do (I cleaned debris from mine, but they are clearly due for a yearly change to keep the air fresh). While looking for the filter pair online (dealer wants to change them when they do the spark plugs, but doing it myself saves about $150) and I ran across some documentation for a rear micro filter apparently if you have P4NF (extended rear air conditioning). I don't have the executive back seat stuff, so I'm guessing it refers to that. Does that package give air vents in more places than just the center console then? Just curious.

Have you looked at BMW 64116996208 Genuine OEM Filter Element on ebay or https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...366401#fitment

When replacing the cabin filters, there are no instructions for which direction the air flow travels (important for the charcoal filters). I read some discussions online for other models that had people arguing that the arrows should point towards the rear of the car (pointing inside) and some argued that it should point towards the engine (pointing outside). I watched some videos and one guy said the arrows should point towards the inside of the car which makes sense to me, so I installed them that way (charcoal facing the engine). Newtis wasn't much help either since the filter enclosure doesn't specify which way the air flows.

House air filter have arrows going with the direction of airflow (so away from furnace body). Assume cars would do same...

Logic would dictate that this is correct for your car filters as well.

Here's a list of what's NOT covered under CPO, filters being one of those items.
