You can change it there, see if that works. I was able to add the MLOGO and Change the cluster color as well.
Hi,

Did you change M logo on G11 instrument cluster? I tried to apply these settings but it doesn’t change anything, still see bmw logo on start up. Can you share which parameters you changed. Thank you.

Not sure. It just showed up as difference when comparing US to Japan files.

No, I do not know how to increase.

You coded my i3 a year ago.
I got the bimmercode app.
Just trying to figure out what can be coded on the 7 series.
Is there a worksheet you guys may have that shows certain stuff that can be coded via the bimmercode app?

I have never used Bimmercode, so I could not say. I use E-sys and the library of Cheat Codes I wrote.

If you have BimmerCode you can go to their site and find out what is available for coding using the app. There are other cab abilities not listed in the app that are not easily coded. You can do that through advanced which is not recommended unless you know what you are doing.

Coding Auto Heated Seats/Steering Wheel

I have a 2016 730D (G11), not entirely sure on the software version of the idrive but I don't have the option under climate to enable the heated seats/steering wheel when it gets to a certain temperature outside (saw this earlier in this thread).

Does anyone know if this is a simple code job or am I best to get my idrive updated to the latest version and then that should allow it in the menus.

My Vin is this if it helps - WBA7C22040G545377

Cheers.

Whether you have option is combination of software level and regional differences. Updating may not enable automatically.

Thanks both. I guess I can ask the dealer to update my idrive software to the latest version when I take it in for it next's service and then if it's not there by default then get onto coding it.

Has anyone had that menu without coding I wonder?

The first two are in the Body Control Unit

The next one is in the HU Headunit

But you have to be in expert mode.
