Upgrade to Lane Assist

Well, here is my next stupid question. I have a base 2016 G12 xDrive.
HUD, but no much else. Can I assume that all the wiring exists for the add-ons like lane assist? Would it be possible to simply buy the left and right lane assist mirrors and them the vehicle recognizes them and VOILA! Lane assist?

You probably need to code them. Not sure if the correct wiring is already there either.
