Few queries

Hello again,

I have few queries re my 740xd G11. I have Service Pack included with the car until 65k miles. I tried booking my car for filters change and they refused saying it doesn't need new filters until 55k miles. I ordered some OEM filters and will have the fitted by an approved BMW specialist with legit software and all that. Why these OEM filters have lower quality than Mahle or Mann?? Pollen filters made by Valeo in France but I have Mahle for BMW fitted and made in Germany. Why?? Crap marketing or what??
I tend to believe that most of BMW filters are made in different countries with lower quality than the one made in Germany.
I am 13k miles away until my next engine oil/filter change and again the OEM oil is long life. I will have the oil changed before I hit 10k miles anyway. Is castrol 5w40 C3 any better than the oem oil??
I know long life oil is somewhat different. Am I wrong?
Any pointers would help .
Thank you

No tips at all? Just want to know what's the best oil. Castrol says one thing, BMW another and some Bmw specialist something else.

I have 740xd 2016, 100,000 km mileage. Last month I gave my car to BMW Service Center for oil, filters and brake pads replacement. I bought Millers EE LongLife 5W30 oil myself. The BMW said it was very good and they had no problem with the replacement.
