Streaming Music Through USB
Is it possible to connect my Galaxy S20+ Android phone to idrive 6 (2018 M760i) via USB, and play streaming music from the Spotify or Amazon Music app on my android phone through the USB cable?
I understand that a USB connection may provide better sound quality than Bluetooth. However, when I connect my phone via the cable, I can only play music stored on the phone, and can't get streaming music to play through USB. Am I missing something, or is USB streaming not possible on idrive 6? |

I can do exactly that through iPhone so I don't see why Android would not work. Just make sure bluetooth is turned off. I have to do that in order to play itunes/apple music/youtube/etc.

However, this setup still won't work with my Samsung Galaxy S20 plus. Can an android phone owner please weigh in, and let me know if they can in fact play streaming music via a USB cable? |
