Mine has run out but as the rest of the connected drive services are still active until Nov. I'm going to wait and pay for all the services at once. That way their won't be any overlap.

BMW explained it to me that map updates are 3yrs but other connected drive services can be 3yrs and 3mths from the car being new.

Sorry it's 2020-2 not 3 but yes all are still active I called Bmw connected and was told it was because Of a few things possibly one I don't drive the cars and or if I do it's not for a long enough period of time two when I do drive them I don't set destinations or even use the gps not sure if I believe any of this I was told honestly

So they could in theory only do one or two updates.

But hopefully one will release soon. I'd guess, like most things, it will have been delayed due to COVID.

Ok so yesterday I finally got auto update 2020-2 in one of my G12's after a nice drive in which I actually used the gps so I guess what Bmw connected told me was correct

Nothing is available yet. Last update I got was 2020/3 back in Nov or Dec. I updated to the full 2020-3 version via USB recently. Not expecting anything for a while yet.

They only guarantee 2 a year if I remember right and 'up to' 4.

Morning. Thanks. Asked BMW yesterday and they said it will be sometimes within the next month. Also my last update on my Here maps App was back in December 2020.

No need to replace the head unit. This is a map update. Check Connected Drive services on your online BMW account.

Are we due a map update? Cannot see anything on Connected Drive as a 2022 new map. Am I missing something??
