Starbucks mocha cookie crumble with coconut milk.
I have one everyday. It's my one vice and 'snack' that helps me through the day.
(I also work out and need the calories! lol)

My dog gets a puppicino.

Out and about our Gloria Jeans make a really good coffee. At home, Moccona Dark Roast. A few years I did a trip to western Canada with dad and took a liking to Tim Horton's.

We use Costco whole beans for home coffee.
They have a Colombian, Guatemalan, Sumatran, a Starbucks Breakfast Blend... all with a very good, moderate flavor. And the turnover is so fast, the coffee is always fresh.
Every once in a while I buy the latest greatest roasted on premises bag (plenty here in the nabe), and they are fun sometimes, but we find these Costco beans to be the smoothest drinkers, even when black.

I also find that I can use 20% less coffee in the Technivorm and still get the same rich coffee taste. Yes, more expensive. Worth it IMHO, YMMV. Downside (?) is that Technofirms arent programmable, but a simple timer adapter can solve that.
Weve been on the new coffee pot every 2-3 years so Im definitely looking for something quality. The wife is still hesitant since she doesnt think shell notice a taste difference but Im 85% sold on it, just the price is a bit tough. The wife and I do love our coffee though.

Edit...just ordered a KBGV, got a 15% coupon through wayfair. Thats what pushed me.

Does anyone use either of these two drippers?
They are like a Melita, but with a big drain hole which is blocked by a lever or plug. It's like cowboy coffee until your brew time is up. Then you release the coffee, which flows out in seconds rather than that indeterminate time a Melita takes. You can use paper or mesh filters, vary the grind & the brew time. You boil, you pour, you time!
We now use the Clever Dripper because the lever on our Bonavita broke twice.

I usually get the purple bag with gold lines, "Super Crema" is what's called. It's a medium roast, flavor seems pretty well balanced with the all crema that comes out, hence the name. There's another purple bag but with red lines called Gran Espresso. Has a little stronger espresso taste compared to the Super Crema which Is pretty good if you're after the espresso taste.

I know what you talking about, their regular Espresso black bag. It's alright, seems to be lacking something.

I also like illy medium roast and dark roast whole beans as well.

Nice, had that one (that's the divorce maker). Switched to the KBGT for the thermal carafe.

If you have a scale, use 40g of coffee for a pot, should be about perfect.

Enjoy!

40grams for about 40oz? I was actually recently reading about this and it seems most recommend 65-70g?

Is it just me or does anyone hate it when someone says ‘carmel’ instead of caramel?

Only when it's used in the same sentence with coffee

That is bad, as is the north american car--------------------a-------------------mel

It's one word. Right up there with 'erbs as a cat dragging it's nails down a blackboard.

Do you..."carmalize" onions or "caramelize" onions?

I admit I say "Carmalized" onions. Fight me.
