BMW Platinum Warranty. Worth it? Other options?

Hi,

I am buying a 750i 2020 or 2021. Less than 40k miles.
Looking at 5 cars miles range from 18k to 35k.

I drive 14-15k/year.

I need the car to last 5.5- 6 years under warranty.

Anyone have experience with BMW platinum warranty? Is it worth it? Are there better alternatives you could suggest?

Which plan would you suggest for my situation?

Car dealerships are like casinos - the house never loses. Whether you want to pay that money to a dealership or collect it to savings account is up to you.

On one hand, the warranty gives you a piece of mind (depending on coverage!). On the other hand, your warranty claims and repairs are locked to dealer network.

im looking for an extended warratny, I've had luck in that my F02, paid 6k for the warranty and they paid out 25k ha. So big win.

Looking for a good warranty company for my G12 B7, anyone have a solid recommendation? I used to use CNA but the dealer that sold them got bought by Penske and no longer offers it. Anyone know anyone that offers CNA warranty?
