Sunroof seal cracked

Sunroof seal cracked in a 4-year-old car do you have any experience or an idea how to protect or repair it ...?

I think that may be by design. When I picked my G12 up I noticed the same cut on the driver side. I recently had my entire front end and roof repainted which they replaced the seals and have the same cut.

Seal ordered original and will be replaced soon. My concern has been resolved, it is actually the factory connection of the two ends of the seal. Fortunately nothing leaks, despite the disturbing condition of the seal, but these are only appearances ...
