Rear Fog Lights

Has anyone in North America attempted to activate the rear fog lights on their G11/12? I have a 2018 750i in which I'd like to add the rear fog light feature. It looks like the LED's exist for the fog lights in the taillight fixtures however, I'm not sure about the wiring in the harness. I am aware you need to replace the headlight switch, part 61319388939 in my car, to allow for front and rear fog lights. Following swapping the switch, I'd imagine the car would need to be coded to allow for the rear fog lights to be activated. Is it this simple on the G11 or will wiring to the taillights need to be added? Thank you in advance for any information.
