New summer tires - Bridgestone or Pirelli

Hi there,
So I am planning to buy a new set of summer tires.
On my 2018 BMW 750IX I had only winter tires from Pirelli. ( I purchased the car in Feb ).

Now I am seeing at the dealer that all 7 series are coming with Bridgestone Potenza S001 ... but on the same time the dealer is saying that PirellP Zero is also OEM.

So, from the two options what is the best one?
When it comes to the Pirelli, I bealive that the P-Zero PZ4 (Luxury) is the Oem .. ?

Also, the OEM tires are both with rim protection, correct?
Many thanks
Best

My ‘18 came with Pirelli Pzero run flats so Pirelli Pzero is def OEM. I have since swapped them out for some Hankook V12 Evo 2 non-run flats as I’ve enjoyed them on my previous Benz’s and Maserati’s. I live in SoCal so I run summer tires year round.

My 2018 7 came with Bridgestone Potenza, so OEM at that point in time.

Manufacturers tender out things like this on a frequent basis to reduce/control costs, so unless there is a reason to supply a certain spec in a given market, OEM brand will vary by tender.

If you're changing tires out, I'd go with Michelin's PS4S or if you want run flats then they do have that. Michelin overall is a better quality and quieter ride than the two you mentioned.

My car came with GoodYear Excellence Run Flat, they are great and no road noise like the other brands are creating!

My vote would be PS4S. I got cornered into Bridgestone RE980AS due to circumstance.... but all my other cars have Michelin. Non-run flats are key IMO.
