San Marino Blue - Machine Polish and Ceramic Coating

Some detailing porn for those of you interested.

Just had my San Marino Blue 730d with a 3 stage correction, diamond cut wheel refurb and Feynlab ceramic coat. The depth of colour is phenomenal, the pictures do not do it justice...to say I am pleased is an understatement!!

Not sure how well the photos upload from iPhone so will use image hosting if they don't come out well.

Thanks.

It is less about the product that gives it the colour depth and more about the preparation. I had a professional detailer perform an extensive overhaul of the paintwork - he spent a week polishing the entire car back to an immaculate condition before sealing it with a ceramic coating.

The paint correction is the most important part.

Beautiful! San Marino works vey well on the 7 Series.

Why did the paint correction take so long? Was the paint in really bad condition?

It had a existing ceramic coating that had been applied poorly by the previous owner - took more time to remove it than it did to correct the paintwork!!
