New owner- couple questions

About 2 weeks into owning my 2017 750xdrive and have some stupid questions

1. How do i get the rear center head rest back down? I flipped it up to condition the leather and cant get it down.

2. Is there a way to control the rear side shades from the front? I know theyu will roll down when i roll the rear windows down, but how can i get them back up?

3. Does lane assist suck for everyone or is it just my car? Any turn at all, it basically just quit mid turn or not even try to turn.

4. Drivers floor mat- my e66 did the same thing and i really was hoping theyd have it figured out 11 years later, but what is suppose to be keeping it in place? Im constantly pulling it back from under the pedals.

All stupid questions that im sure id eventually find the answers to but figured this could speed up the process. Thanks!!

Congrats on your new ride. Feel free to ask away.

1. See picture from owners manual attached.
2. If you press and hold the rear sunshade button, it will also open or close the sides as well all together.
3. In order for it to deactivate, you need activate your turn signals
4. On the bottom of the carpet there should be 4 Velcro pads on each corner. Never had my carpet slide with those in place. I attached a picture. Should attached to the pads attached to the floor board.

Ditto the reply above in regards to the electric shades for the rear doors and rear windshield.

There is a sequence to how all 3 shades operates (from the driver's master control button) depending on the position of the shades. If the rear shade is up but the door shades are down (or vice versa)...you may have to LOWER or raise the rear shade first so that all 3 shade's position is the same. Once all 3 shades are in the same position... you press & hold the front button...all 3 shades will go up & down together.

This should be in your owners manual...it is discussed in my f06 owners manual (see excerpt below)...BMW's design architecture probably isn't much different in this regards with how a switch/button operates:
