2021 750xi Performance Mods

There is a startling lack of performance mods for the 750xi. I have a 2021 and am looking for better sound and more power. What performance mods have people been doing?
Should I be looking in the M550 stuff?

In my opinion Bootmod3 is the way to go. Your car is supported and works perfect and big noticable gain throughout the powerband.

DME Tuning has stage 1 (680hp/626tq) for 2020 M550, so 750 shouldn't be far off. Shoot them an inquiry.

Thanks guys! I will check out both of them.
Any exhaust and intake options? I saw the Dinan exhaust and have seen a couple others remove the entire rear muffler.

I believe Meisterschaft has a system and DINAN has the rear muffler. The first is the best sounding system but also the priciest. I imagine it's interchangeable between G12 and G12 LCI. If emissions isn't a concern, you could do downpipes with proper tune and net the most power.

I opted for a custom system from my local fab shop. Ran me roughly $1200. Removed the entire stock system and replaced with new 3" pipe, x pipe, and new muffler system to give me the sound I want. Not the best video but get the idea. Gives the car a perfectly balanced growl. Not overly loud outside and perfect inside.

For intakes, Project Gamma said they are working on one, I'd reach out and add your name to the hat of interests. The more they get the more motivated they are. For now, I've gone with BMC drop in filters, adds more airflow and better throttle response. Slight increase in turbo sound.

As for tune, I've gone with DME Tuning, it's a night and day difference. If you're interested I the features that BM3 offers like data logging, change tunes... etc, pick it up. You can still by DME to load a tune to it if you prefer DME I've the pre-loaded tunes that come with BM3. Talk to Mo at DME and seee if he sells the package. For me, I didn't need the features so I just went with the tune and I can load/unload via laptop in 15 minutes.

Not much more that can be done on these cars. I've tried so hard to find stuff LOL.

If you want to lower the car, you can do it with hardware like ghost links or you can do it over BMW ISTA+ with software, mrgicm can offer it as a service OTA. Another one out of Europe is a module that allows you to control ride heights with the phone and function like stock stock with custom heights per setting / speed. Pretty near but pricey.

Great stuff man. Mirrors my exact experience lol. Definitely on point across the board

Did you happen to get a burble tune from Moe? I forgot to ask when original tune was added and I don't really wanna spend the extra $300 to re flash for a burble without hearing it on another 7 first

Yeah, I opted for the burble. I told him I didn't want it because I only knew how it sounded in M3s/4s and it was too much for a 7, however, he convinced me otherwise and it's really not bad at all. I only hear it in low speeds in 1st/2nd gear when I let off the throttle and it's subtle.

I can’t imagine a burble sounding good on a 7 series but I’m very curious to hear how yours sounds. Do you have audio of it?

The video I posted is al I have at the moment. While driving, I only hear it in 1st or 2nd gear and even then, it's barely noticeable. I'll see if I can get one.
