Don't worry. Get the surgery and your eyes will be better than they were. I was nearsighted before and my doctor put two different lenses in my eyes. It took a little bit to get used to it but now it works very naturally. I used to wear glasses and now I don't need them. Very happy with the results and you will be too. I forget what they call this method - I tried that with my contacts a few years back. I was fine if I was looking straight ahead, or reading something but I had a problem driving with my peripheral vision. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I appreciate it.

I tried monovision back when I wore contacts as well. I did not like it. I want stereoscopic vision; I'll wear glasses for the close stuff, no big deal as I've been wearing them almost every day since I was 10 years old. And that's a lot of days, whipper-snapper!
