Every single line of the LCI is beautiful but that grill is just way too much.

The S Class is definitely a looker. I'm not sure if it's because the 7 LCI is just newer, but it at the very least looks more distinctive to me than the S.
The S on the other hand, as good as it looks, has very little to distinguish it from the E or C.

I can understand how the 7 LCI might not be pretty to many people, but I dunno, it is starting to grow on me. Yes, the kidneys are getting larger with every generation, but it's no bigger than Merc or Audi or Lexus grilles. Sign of the times I guess.

Totally agree with the vast majority of comments here about those grills

I hope it doesn't sell at all and bmw learn very quickly from it

And also they need to sack the entire team responsible for this hideous creation and give them each a grill to home with

As a pre-LCI G12 owner myself, I prefer my car vs. This one. The grill just looks silly in proportion to the headlights.

Yeah it is like a 545e is missing in the line up. I think that would be an interesting car.

I think the new larger kidney grilles look OK on the newer SUV’s like the X5 or X7 but the new extra large kidney grilles on the 7 series makes a big sedan look like a big SUV.It just doesn’t look good for a luxury sedan IMO.

I think the current 7er looked dated the moment it was unveiled, so kudos to BMW for spending some money on a pretty extensive refresh instead of a minor facelift. Unfortunately, it just doesn't look good to me, nor does it look that upmarket. I think the front end on the non-Msport would look nice with a more normal sized grille.

LCI looks way better than the predecessor. That grill is big but that's not a bad thing (think Flying Spur, Phantom or Ghost). The car looks great with those narrow headlamps and that imposing grill.

Supersize size that sir?

Everything in the new facelift is generally good but that nose... More is not always better and BMW in my humble opinion have over cooked the grill. It is comical and over the top.

That theme of super sizing seems to be everywhere as there are more shiny bits on the car, bigger hockey sticks, more shiney buttons in the interior, and even more quilting details.
