Check out the soon to be cla amg interior, that is truley something special. Recaro seats in all variety of cool colors. Sleek interior. Red seatbelt. I don't get why BMW doesn't offer this stuff in their performance cars. Even the m3 interior is not great. I would have paid a little bit more for my 335 if I got black and red recaro seats and a 5 point red seatbelt

My favorite is the all white spaceship look they have going with the cla

BMW needs to wake up and stop making interiors that basically look the same on every bloody series of cars they build. If I'm buying the flagship 7 series I sure in hell don't want the interior to look exactly the same as a base model 5 series. Mercedes on the other hand has a unique interior for all their models which is quite refreshing.

the only thing I don't like (and mercedez is not the only one doing this!) is the huge space taking up the center of the car between the driver and passenger. It seems to alienate the driver/passenger, and to me feels like it is taking up a lot of interior space as well.

Other then that, it looks fantastic!

I've owned a number of both. Benz interiors have always focused on luxury, fit & finish while BMW has chosen to focus on "sportiness" and utility. If you disagree on opinion, sure but cute ANY BMW that has a better finished interior than the equivalent Benz

What do you want them to have? A full bench like a pickup truck or oldsmobile?

I sell Benz's and haven't really felt compelled to buy anything we sell, other than an ML Bluetec. I looked in to a C63 but it didn't seem worth the $40k I'd have to put on top of my 1. If they can up their powertrain game on the "c350" or whatever it turns out to be, I'll definitely be ordering one of these.

I sat in one at the dealer today before receiving an '14 IS250 as loaner at my dealer. IS has a better interior (imo)

Looks pretty nice, but I bet it's not that great in person. I think you have to step way up in price these days to get into the really quality interiors.

I've driven just about everything, and I've only been truly impressed with interiors from Bentley, Ferrari, and Land Rover. My (now ex-) wife had a Range Rover with the upgraded leather interior and it was truly top notch. Still smelled and looked like luxury 5 years from new. In comparison, my '06 911 had interior plastics that flaked off like an old Corolla 3 years into ownership. The quality of the leather was also disappointing. With that being said, the 991 appears to be of much higher quality on the inside.

On the BMW side, my '07 Z4M Coupe had a couple of low-rent looking plastics inside but held up really well. The Imola Red seats seemed nicer than the black seats in my 911. I'm considering a 435i in the spring, but I haven't sat in one yet. I'm expecting "ok" but nothing overwhelming in the interior department. I think as long as I don't sit in a 650i Gran Coupe, that the 4 will be my next BMW

Amazing pics too. My F30 interior looks like junk compared to this. It's a hard truth to swallow..Definitely not the case with the current C-class though..

I'm coming from 5 consecutive BMWs and now have a 2012 C300 4matic. The interior is comfy and well laid out, but I'm disappointed with the fit quality. My dash rattles/creaks annoyingly. I can press on the plastic molding surrounding the center console buttons and the rattling/creaking stops, so I know where the problem is. I just need the time to get it to a dealer to have it (hopefully) fixed. My BMWs had their share of oddball noises as well. I just don't feel that MB necessarily has the upper hand as far as fit. Seems a wash to me. But there's no question in my mind that the design and materials of the MB seem better than BMW.
