The power band is probably insane. They aren't tuned for output in these ultralux cars they are tuned for smoothness. I'm sure if M really wanted it tuned out you'd see a ~800-900 hp easy.
If they went with the same specific output as the m4 it would be pushing 950 Would be nice if they gave a rebirth to the s70/2 using modern tech and put it in an M8. Since they are still doing v12 engines and all 😍 |

This is pretty damn awesome! Only thing I hate are the wheels. Does not look like a M-Sport/M Performance type wheel. Should have gone with something more sporty yet luxury/classic instead like the 312 wheels.

P.S. non-M-performance 760Li is coming too btw. Quote:
Because it is a luxury car. It's all about being smooth. A 1993 M3 with a 3l l6 engine produced almost the same amount of power as the 1993 750il with a 5l v12 engine. Each engine has it's own application. Last edited by SickFinga; 02-11-2016 at 07:15 PM.. |

BMW tests the RR products(prototypes) with the MPE engine software - just to see what would break IF anything on the test mules. On the V12 it makes 680 PS. I wonder if BMW will release a MPE kit for the 7er. One can hope! ![]() For myself... I fancy the Alpina B7. I'l take mine in Alpina Blue. ![]() Dack

OK, BMW. Here's what's going to happen:
You're going to take that V12, remove all the turbos, and then shove it into the M6. SSSSHHHHHH! Don't ask any questions! Just shut up and do it.

This'll show those fancy AMG people who's boss...
"Yeah, just rollin' in with my new 6.6 V12 guys." I'm pleased to see almost zero negative feedback in the other posts. BMW is doing a good thing, here. I mean, check out that V12 badge! I had serious doubt that I'd ever see that on a 2016/17 BMW, let alone something with an M badge too. Granted they do seem to throw it around, it's still a shocker.
