You need to update Launcher. PSdZ is unmapped and update will make no difference as long as you can "Read Coding Data" without error. |

Yes. You need at least Nov '16 software on vehicle; though, latest for best performance. Then, it can be coded and add FSC for full functionality.

Hi All,
Can anybody link me, or attach a list of codes with their function? Not sure if they are the same as E-Sys cheat codes. I am currently using "Bimmercode" App, and there are many easy codes built in, but I want to get into expert mode and see what I can really do. The problem is that everything more or less is gibberish, so need to understand what everything means. Thank you in advance! |

You guys are very technical being able to do it yourself, I ended up using CodeMyCar, extremely pleased with them.
Glad to be able to turn off DRL on Canadian cars. |

I don't believe 8TH was an independent option on the 7 like it is on the 5, so not sure if it can be retrofitted on it's own or if it needs to part of the driving assistance options

having said that, if you have the relevant equipment already in the car, I don't know if adding 8TH to the VO would enable it but I very much doubt it would be that simple

There’s only one thing I want to code I think, which is to keep auto start stop off when I turn it off and restart the car. I hate having to turn it off every time I start the car so I coded that out on my 6

Out of curiosity, is it possible to code a June 2016 model 7?
So, for example could one add apple car play and exec drive pro via coding or are there hardware bits needed to achieve this? What can one code on an earlier model? (point me to a relevant list if there is one and I'll educate myself, not lazy just don't know where to start as it where!) Is it possible to bring the iDrive system up to the latest version yet? (so 5 to 6) Thanks for any comments / pointers / advice. Safe travels. |

I haven't got myself up to date with what's able to be coded on the 7 yet fully but CarPlay won't be able to be coded, you need to buy it through the connected drive store. On the 6, iDrive id 5 was able to be coded up to 6, there were hardware differences but I believe it should still work fine. Once I get my 7 I'll be able to give you more information on what's available. I'll see if I can find a list but the lists I saw before were based on US cars which have different things enabled or disabled by default so I'll se what I can find. |
