‘21 750 $$ what’s a good % off

Looking into the new 750s. Trying to get a handle on what % off are people seeing. Can be general. To date, I’ve gotten 6% and 12% so quite a range.

6% is basically at invoice. 12% is about 1% below cost, invoice less 5% holdback...but even at 12% it's likely not a losing deal as you have to factor in rebates ($3K) and flagship money (it was $4K in October when I got mine).

Unless those rebates are shown separate from the discount in your deal, you have to assume that they are included in the discount as the dealer gets that money from BMW.

On Leasehackr there are brokers that have structured deals that are pretty good. I saw one earlier this week offer a 12% discount + $3K rebate.

This all makes perfect sense. I believe the 12% did not include rebates as I was asked a few qualifying questions. Getting interesting. Just have to figure out if I want to step down from RS7/M5 world to a 750 m sport........ Thanks this is helpful

Have you pondered a “step down” to an Alpina B7. Get the 7 series size, with near M5 power. I’m amazed by mine every day.

If you can secure 12% off plus rebates, that would be a very good deal. I saw several dealers offer 6% off and indicate to me that was the "market."

You'll be surprised if you drive the 750 compared to anything other than a new M5. The added power to the revised 750 took the car from being quick to being fast. With the M-Sport exhaust it sounds great in sport mode and the ride compared to an M5 will be superior.

In terms of horsepower, my sales person told me that he has seen several of the newer 4.4L V8's dyno 560HP to 580HP and that at 523HP they are underrated. For what it's worth, there is a feature in the digital cockpit where you can see how much horsepower and torque the car is producing and the horsepower gauge goes to 560 HP.

IMO, it's the perfect balance of a car with launch control/sub 4 sec 0-60, but one that you can also comfortably drive four adults to dinner in.

Thank you and this is why I’m entertaining a 750! The “6%” quote dealership has the car I want so if I do this I need to work this better in my favor. The “12%” place is also a contender just isn’t my #1 pick. Let the games begin!

Love the Alpina. Came very close to a couple last month but they didn’t pass the smell test so I backed off. I don’t have to do anything immediately so I could wait (patience? Wtf is that lol). Tic Tock

Just be straightforward with the dealership that has the car you want. Tell them that you have a better deal elsewhere but that you'd prefer to do business with them and see how they respond. If they say that they will meet or beat the other deal to earn your business, then you have a done deal.

Took me awhile to find mine after getting close on a couple, and like you, backing off after things didn’t seem kosher. I wonder if we looked at any of the same cars?

Patience is key.

Btw your car is virtually the same spec I'm looking at! Is it carbon black or BSM? Has quite the presence and commands respect just like an Alpina lol

I know you don't really mean step down per your other posts. I would just add food for thought. I bought Dinan V1 for my 750. Originally 440hp is now around 500hp and significantly quicker. The new 750 I believe is around 500hp stock so imagine what that could do with a Dinan tune (or comparable). Instead of paying many thousands more for the Alpina - which is SICK don't get me wrong - you could tune and get more juice. Plus if you go Dinan you get factory warranty coverage. Other tunes would void the warranty.

Dinan doesn’t have a tune for the 2020 cars with the updated HP. Neither the 750 or the m550. It’s a bummer and was part of my decision making - didn’t want a tune that would void warranty on a new 120k car.

I stand corrected. You are a better man than I. Thanks for the added insight.

Haha. That’s questionable.

I’ve just already explored the question.

Cheers.

That is for now.... maybe car is too new? Or is everyone sure Dinan will NOT make a tune at all? I would find this hard to believe. Then again, tune it then it's close to M760.... we know the $$ on that one.

How is the handling of your car compared to a 750? Is it noticeably floaty?
