Such a pity they have dropped the SWB version as the proportions are so much better on the G11 than the G12 without that silly long rear door that draws your eyes rearwards and spoils that slightly raked "pushing forward" vibe of the G11.

Maybe they did a better job in this version.

Journalists had both the i7 and an ICE variant to drive - some journalists report a V8, some the I6.

If the number plate does not have an E at the end (as is the case in the studio at beginning of the video), it's the ICE version.

It never ceases to amaze me how you guys get things so wrong. You all keep saying that BMW is copying Hyundai and Kia, but that is completely backwards.

In 2019 Karim Habib joined Kia as Senior VP of design, and was at BMW from 1998-2017 (couple of years with Benz during that time too).
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karim_Habib

Kia then also hired Won Kyu Kang from BMW to head up their design division.

https://www.drive.com.au/news/kia-hi...ior%20designer.

A logical person might be able to infer that Kia is the one copying BMW because they literally took the people who were designing the cars you're seeing now.

If you go on the MyBMW app (probably the online website as well) and then click the 'BMW World'/globe icon, there is a link to a global press event with a sneak peek video…

I have a feeling this car is going to be so ugly that it will make the 2003 745i look like a beauty.... What the hell happened to BMW??? Every time I look at the dash of the ix and how that stupid display is attached to it, I shake my head.

I guess I have to wait for 2023 M550 and hope they are not going to ruin the looks of that one too! If they do, then it's time to walk away from BMW after 2 decades of driving 5 & 7 series. I know this is going to be painful...o
