760Li 2015 , best way to maintain

Hi All,

First post here. I am about to buy (agreed on price and should complete paper work monday) a 2015 7.60Li individual @44k KM's. I did my best but couldn't resist the offer as probably this was the most optioned BMW I've ever seen. I think the first owner clicked select all on the configurator.

I'd like to know what I should be careful about the engine/transmission and if there is a special maintannce routine I should follow to make sure that I won't end up paying a fortune.

Best regards
Mertol

The V12s are fantastic. Largest issue on them were high pressure fuel pumps but I think you have quite a few KMs left on the originals. Like 200,000 km more on the originals..

Do 8,000km oil intervals to keep the motor happy. Watch oil consumption between oil changes to make sure you don't have a motor that likes to drink..

N74s are fairly solid motors. Not a ton out there, but everything I've heard has been very positive.

I did a lot of researching before I got my 2019 m760i. I found pretty much zero indications of mechanical bugs. The motor is an evolution of a 20 year old design. It’s a special feeling when that torque comes in at such low rpm’s.
