Sun Roof/Shield - function not available

Hi,
I have been searching the manuals and forums without luck and hope someone here has a suggestion/idea...

On the rear console of the i7, when I try to open the shield for the sun roof, I get a function not currently available message. The side and rear blinds work fine. The roof itself opens via the main switch in the front as well as the main console.

Any ideas how to reset the door console or get it working from the rear seat?

I had this same issue with my i7 M70 for the first month of ownership. However, after I updated to software v 03/2024.40 last week this functionality started working and I can control the roof sunshade with the rear door consoles. Note: w/ 03/2024.40 my roof sunshade now automatically closes when I lock the car. No way to disable.

No way to disable? You don't have the below screen option under "Doors and Windows/Lock-Unlock?"

No sir. I don’t have that option. Wasn’t there prior or after the software update. Some noted it’s not an option with the theater screen anymore becwuse the shade helps protect the screen in hot weather. I have no clue.

Well that's odd -- but hardly surprising. While my 2024 G70 DOES have the Active Lane Change (mirror-looking evoking) which I've used occasionally, I don't have a screen to turn it on or off like another or others do. Bizarre....
