Cel 130713?? Vanos?
Anyone know exactly how or procedure to fix this. I've found a few TSB for the g11/12 and from what I can tell they've updated the oil lines etc. Figured they've replaced the vanos too? Car has 86k miles unfortunately so I gotta tackle this on my own I believe. Unless there's some sort of bmw recall/warranty I'm unaware of 😆

Gonna respond to own thread in case anyone else has this issue. Replaced the vanos solenoid and problem is solved. Some cars may or may not had them replaced under tsb prior. Not sure if mine were. Replaced both intake and exhaust vanos on bank 1 since I was there anyways. Replacement does require special tool. Happy boosting

just make sure to release the boost hose from turbo its easy to do and will give you more leverage to pull back the IC enough to get the vanos out.
